Water - Art - StoriesIn collaboration with artists Inye Wokoma, Elisheba Johnson, and Rachel Kessler, we created a portable living room in which visitors could see, hear, and touch the historic sights, sounds, and stories of Seattle's Central District. Visitors were asked to share their thoughts on how public art and community stories could serve the Central District.

We Are Still HereOn December 19th, 2018, in collaboration with Elisheba Johnson, Inye Wokoma, Rachel Kessler, the Office of Arts and Culture, and Two Big Blondes, we hosted an outdoor party where we projected images, stories, and poetry from the Central District onto a church wall near 23rd and Jackson.

Wa Na WariWa Na Wari is a center for Black art, stories, and culture located in a 5th generation, Black-owned home, in Seattle's historically redlined Central District neighborhood. Wa Na Wari creates space for Black ownership, possibility, and belonging through art, historic preservation, and connection.

Shelf LifeThe Shelf Life Community Story project uses oral history, photography, podcasts, and public art to amplify community voices, learn from neighborhood stories, and interrupt narratives of erasure in Seattle's Central District.
