UW Bothell Community Voices Digital Oral History
From 2013 to 2015, as a lecturer at University of Washington Bothell,
I developed and taught an oral history class
and worked with campus librarians to construct a digital collection
that would feature student work.
Students worked in groups to develop and record
video oral histories with long-time residents of Bothell, WA.
The question they were exploring was:
How has Bothell changed since the University of Washington came to town?
Students conducted oral histories with Bothell community activists,
politicians, city servants, and business owners.
